The lodge is so peaceful and relaxing we just love spending time here. It's close to the lovely Georgian market town of Louth which has Pubs, Restaurants, Theatre, Cinema and a Leisure Centre. There are several supermarkets in Louth or you can have shopping delivered if you prefer.

Donna Nook Grey Seal Colony
Donna Nook on the north-eastern coast of Lincolnshire is a seal watchers' paradise. It boasts one of the largest and most accessible breeding colonies of Grey Seals in the UK. An encounter with a seal at Donna Nook is almost guaranteed because this is effectively a seal maternity hospital.

Louth
A busy Georgian market with a theatre, art deco cinema, a huge range of local shops selling all manner of produce and plenty of restaurants and inns.

The Seal Sanctuary
Seal and Animal Sanctuary. A visit to Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary offers a unique nature experience. Walk through two acres of sand dunes - only fifty metres from the sea - and gain first hand experience of some of the county's most stunning wildlife.

A bustling and attractive market town, renowned for its antique shops, with a fine heritage and unspoilt by modern developments. Located at the south-west foot of the Wolds at the edge of the Fens

Lincoln Christmas Market
Lincoln Christmas Market is held in Lincoln a contemporary cathedral city with over 2,000 years of history, Lincoln is the perfect place to visit over the festive period. Take a trip back through time and stroll along the cobbles the cultural quarter of the city. The medieval square between the impressive Norman castle and magnificent gothic cathedral is the perfect backdrop for the Christmas Market.
